About The Association

Trusted Choice

The year was 1927. It was determined by a small group of independent insurance agents, representing only nondiscounting stock insurance carriers, that building a local association would be of tremendous value to both agents and the St. Petersburg business community at large. The association would promote education, enable political communication, and provide a social arena for local agents.

The Pinellas Association of Insurance Agents is committed to promoting the Independent Agency System. Through its affiliation with the Florida Association of Insurance Agents and the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, it provides educational resources to promote professionalism among its members and aid the members in better serving the needs of the client.
